Our Social Responsibility
BMI strongly feels the need to take social responsibility. Hence, BMI supports organisations such as the Dutch 'Stichting Leergeld'. Both BMI associates, Giep Franzen and Sabine Hinze, are engaged with the society.
Stichting Leergeld
BMI supports the Stichting leergeld. This Dutch foundations's mission is the prevention of social exclusion of children from families with minimal financial resources.
‘Stichting Leergeld’ offers opportunities to children in the age of 4 to 18 years to be able to participate in classroom and extracurricular activities. This gives these children the opportunity to develop their social skills and knowledge in the best possible way.
Match Mentor project
Giep Franzen (profile) is active in the Match Mentor project of the Foundation Welfare Helmond.
When in her class the Match Mentor project was presented, reported Wendy van der Pas (18) located directly beside. "I was in trouble with my schedule. There were things piled up and I had more total no overview. There, I had really need help with. " Wendy wanted a mentor with life experience. Someone who thinks and realistican good k in perspective. Giep Franzen(65), an experienced management trainer, conforms entirely to that profile. He likes to work with young people, and is doing something back for society as a "privileged babyboomer".
